KitaabAI may process your account email, profile preferences, book projects, outlines, chapters, research notes, marketing assets, export settings, feature usage and operational logs needed to run the service.

KitaabAI is free during early access and does not take payments. If paid plans are introduced later, KitaabAI will store the transaction references and billing records needed to connect a purchase to your account. Payment card details would be handled by the payment provider and not stored by KitaabAI.

Your book content is used to provide the features you request: planning, drafting, research assistance, review, marketing support and export. Relevant content may be sent to configured AI providers when you use an AI-powered feature.

KitaabAI does not need ownership of your manuscript in order to provide the service. You remain responsible for deciding what belongs in the final work.

You can sign in with an email and password or with Google. When you use Google, KitaabAI receives the basic profile details Google shares for sign-in, such as your email address.

Authentication and application data are handled through the project's connected Supabase/Lovable Cloud infrastructure and related service providers needed to operate the product.

When you request AI assistance, the minimum context needed for that task may be sent to a configured AI provider. AI providers can change as the product evolves, so avoid placing secrets or highly sensitive personal information in prompts unless it is necessary for your work.

No payment provider is used while KitaabAI is free. If payments are enabled in the future, checkout will be handled by a payment provider, and KitaabAI may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, amount, currency and related metadata, but not your full card number.

We use service data to authenticate users, save and sync books, generate requested AI output, provide exports, enforce account access, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and improve product reliability.

Information may be shared with infrastructure, AI and payment providers only as needed to operate the feature you are using, and when required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

KitaabAI does not present your manuscript as public content unless you deliberately export or publish it outside the service.

Data is kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain billing and security records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Backup or audit records may remain for a limited period after primary data is removed.

You can update account and writing preferences, or delete your account and its books, from Settings.

KitaabAI uses authenticated access controls, server-only secrets for privileged operations and database policies designed to limit access to account data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

This policy may be updated as KitaabAI changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and its effective date.
